LSAW steel pipe (Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded pipe) is manufactured from a single medium or heavy plate as the raw material. The steel plate is pressed (rolled) into a tube blank in a mold or forming machine, then welded using the submerged arc welding process, and finally expanded in diameter. Based on its advantages of high reliability and safety performance, LSAW pipe is widely used in various pipeline engineering and construction projects, even under the most severe conditions. It is also suitable for applications in the chemical industry, electric power, irrigation, construction, and piling.
